There are not many people that you can give a brief to which consists of “professional but not formal and suit my personality” but Ryan Taylor has done the graphic design world proud, I’ve been very excited since I saw the first version of the web layout and with every iteration its just gotten better.
As part of my effort to take blogging a bit more seriously, I wanted to get rid of the stock template and have something a bit more unique.
Let me know what you think

Nice, interesting but not too busy and cluttered IMHO.
Thanks for the comments, TBH Brabster this is actually quite a clean and less cluttered design that what i’d usually go for so it could have been a lot worse
I like it.
James’s last blog post..And we’ve chosen to do this with our lives…
Love it
On Safari Webkit, this comment box spills out of the gray background a little but other than that …

OMG I LIKE! Heheh, the cartoon is totally awesome, you’re all rocking out (like most SM professionals, right?). My favourite bit is how the box with the posts in is transparent and you can see the background. I don’t know why…it just is
The new-look site is great!
A nice bit of colour and yet it still seems to be a rather clean and uncluttered design – cool!
Brilliant re-design. Love it.
New design looks great, Dom.
I take it Ryan used the pen tools to recreate some of your more hilarious photographs? I recognise the one in the footer at least.
Jamie
