Wait A Minute…. Did Microsoft Lie?

Microsoft announced that IE8 Will Pass the acid2 test, now the’ve announced that to get standards mode you need to add a special meta tag, right then… so the ACID2 test page doesn’t have that meta tag… so it doesnt render the ACID2 page properly…  therefore.. IE8 doesnt pass the ACID2 test…. am I right?
