Hodge on the run is going to be a series of runs during 2010 (once a month is the plan) where I will run walk at a steady pace around a decent distance… I will however be wearing an item of fancy dress..
The choice of the item will be auctioned off during the month and the winner gets to select (and sometimes provide) a fancy dress item (there are a few restrictions on this)
Each run will be video’d, partly livestreamed, have photos and audioboo’s (depending on the costume of course). The aim of this is to raise money for some of the smaller charities that don’t get in the faces of people.
I will have a mini site up over the next few days with information on donating and the auction (if anyone with some nice graphic’s ability would like to give me a hand, that would be amazing, I’d also like a hand with some of the geo stuff connecting to my phone!).
The first charity on the list will be The Pace Center, I’ll explain the reasons why in a separate post but I hope this idea doesn’t fall flat on its arse (I’m pretty sure I will at some point in the year whilst running walking at a steady pace).
