next one, start with keyword selection and demographics - creating what i call a common language, then move onto semantic markup,
page names and keyword aggregation, link structure etc, then submission, then link development (and cut out with the paid links they suxx)
then content development,
link bait and offline tie ins - make it something developers can implement!

Mark, you were not the target audience, I said at the start it was ment to be a quick and dirty intro with a few tips and tricks to make your blog or site rank a bit better..
I had 6 minutes (which turned into 15), to do my talk and thats not even enough time to talk about link bait with social marketing let alone content development and keyword density..
There were lots of people there who had no idea what SEO was, the presentation was for them, I said that at the start of the presentation.
As people have suggested on the mailing list, you are welcome to do an advanced SEO session containing all the things in your above list in 6 minutes.

Dom, i know i wasn’t the intended audience, just thought that there was a lot of the basics that could have been covered, but were skimmed over - probably because you originally planned to do that 20 second a slide thingie.
Im not trying to fight you dude…
but seriously id have started with keyword research as the basis for a strategy… and at leasy shown them wordtracker and overture inventory.
