I hadn’t had a chance to fully collect my thoughts on Ignite due to the fact I was too excited about this weekend but since I’m on a train and playing with database Schema’s I thought i’d put some thoughts down.

• First of all, hat tip to Craig and Imran (and Linda) for getting it up and running.
• The venue was packed and really got me thinking about “Think Visibility”, we might be announcing something next week (hint hint )
• Some people really broke the “no sales pitch rule”, I’m talking about you Mr telephone from your website and You Mr have sex via twitter
• The drinks + food ran out very quickly (I still managed to get some though)
• Some of the talks went way over my head (Mr BBC Guy  who was not talking about sex and Mr artificial intelligence)
• One of the comments said that the presentations should have been more serious, I disagree with that, it was a good to have a mix between some serious and high level presentations and a picture of a horses arse.
• I thank Tom Scott for asking me to heckle him at a certain slide, then calling me a Dick with the next
• That part of town really needs somewhere to go after 9pm that isn’t packed and playing shitty music
• We arn’t going to the fenton again!
• I think I was introduced to Monica about 4 or 5 times
