Board Game Geekery

May 17th, 2009

There will be no HodgeCon this weekend sadly… In all honesty I really just want a bit of a rest..

On the upside of this, I think we will be having a regular board game night at the house, today I was introduced to Carcassonne and after a quick trip to travelling man I’ve now got that, the War on Terror game and finally my own werewolf cards.. perfect to say that barcamp leeds is just around the corner.

Thanks for the comments and the emails regarding my blogging blog the other day, I find it a strange concept to have regular readers but its nice to see and hear peoples thoughts.

If there is anything you’d like to hear me talk about a bit more or any suggestions, comments are very much welcome (other than stop drinking and posting pictures of pint glasses).

Till tomorrow folks

Only know Carcassonne from once visiting the real place, huge & very impressive but especially the deluge that met us as we left the castle to explore the surrounding town – mini rivers running down the hilly lanes!

I think, at last, I’ve found the ideal home for my Big Book of Great Board Games 1895-1955 (over 40 playable games) & complete with all movable pieces 1979 edition pristine condition.

Whether your glass be half full or half empty a picture’s always welcome ;o)
