Lets get some things straight, I’m not a blogger, I don’t intend to have really long posts on this thing, I don’t intend to update it often, I really don’t intend on spell checking my posts or anything like that, the main reason for this site is that I’ve started to go to some conferences and I wanted to have a site that wasn’t niche that people could link to that I meet at the barcamps and opencoffee meetings.

So on Sunday I quit my last extra job (went from 4/5 down to one), It’s weird how last month 90% of my income was from caerworking, I was a care worker at Leeds Mencap (Weekenders Scheme) and a One to One Carer several evenings a week, I’d done each job for about 3-4 years and it was a really tough decision to change direction and move into the web / SEO, I was pushed into web and SEO by the fact that

1. I was offered a job
2. I liked the area
3. I had a few websites
4. I couldn’t pay the rent the way I was going

(I think number 4 was the deciding factor)

So here I am, I work for a company called StickyEyes which is based in Leeds, I’ll be at GeekUp Leeds Tommorrow and I hope a few people reading this will be from there!
